вот еще такой интересный плагин есть, не пропускает комменты и трэкбеки на английском (т.е. вообще их в базу не пишет), я пока не пробовала, но планирую потестить:

А в банлист не пробовали добавлять? Настройки -> Обсуждение -> Черный список.
